The National Heart, Blood and Lung Institute recommends minimally “30 minutes of daily moderate exercise.”
Doctors and Scientists (such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, CDC) all measure your “physical fitness” through 5 different components:
- Cardiovascular Endurance
Are you out of breath at the slightest exertion, like climbing steps?
- Muscular Endurance
How long can that muscle be used before failing?
- Muscular Strength
How much weight can you lift?
- Flexibility and Range of MotionOften overlooked but critical; are your bones and muscles flexible?
- Body Composition
Your physical make-up of lean mass (bones, muscle, ligaments, organs) and fat (necessary and unnecessary).
Improving each of these components will result in a HEALTHIER and FITTER YOU!
And that is what we focus on – for 6 weeks at a time. It is tough but FUN!
NOTE: this is not a weight loss program.
This is a physical fitness program for men and women that will help you get on track or push you to the next level. Weight loss is usually inevitable but not what we use to determine your success.
